MEET JO MARTIN

The Beginning:

Welcome! I’m Jo Martin.

I am a successful Adult Educator.

My passion is to teach others how to tap into their own

knowledge and passions,

to create a business and lifestyle they love,

through passing that knowledge onto others!

I have a strong background in Sales, Marketing, and Teaching Adults.

Back in 2002, I did some upskilling in using various computer programs.

I passed my computer course well ahead of time, with very little input needed from my tutor.

Because of this, my trainer asked if I would be interested in teaching the courses, myself!

“But I’m no expert!”, I cried.

After much encouragement, I applied for and got the position as a self-employed Computer Trainer.

This meant that I would be contracted to a Nationwide Company, so it was quite a BIG DEAL!

I didn’t feel nearly as confident as my trainer appeared to be.

Apparently, they also could see potential in me even though I didn’t feel very confident in myself.

My Training Business, Computer Lessons Made Easy, was launched in 2002 and I branched into various areas of Adult Education after that.

I was SO nervous!

As nervous as I was, my client appeared to be even more nervous than me.

I proceeded to walk them through the course notes, showing practical applications along the way and encouraging them to try new things.

After my client finished the lesson, I closed the door, breathing a rather large sigh of relief!

I had done it!!!

Not only had I done it, but my client seemed very happy!!!

Since then, I now teach a variety of courses in preparation for different careers.

Helping Tutors, Trainers, and Educators:

Over the years, I’ve furthered my own skills.

Now, I have written very successful courses in a variety of areas.

I teach them one to one or in small groups both onsite and offsite.

It’s become my passion to teach others how to develop and grow their own adult tutoring and training business.

I have now grown my own business successfully!

I know by experience what makes a successful adult educator and a profitable adult training business!

I also know a variety of ways to get new clients, both online and offline that I want to share with you, as you follow me.!
